What does your dream life look like?
My dream life… um… I think it would take place by the sea. Water relaxes me, I love its light and its sound. I would love to live near the water with my pug Théo.
What does success mean to you?
Freedom. The freedom to change, to try, to make choices albania telephone number data that please me and to choose how I want to develop my life and my next projects. Being free to design my future, that is success for me.
What is your role?
I am a digital product user experience designer at Cvent, a services company specializing in meeting and event management technologies.
How would you explain your project to your grandmother?
When I explain my role, I often draw a parallel with architecture and I find that it gives people a good insight into my work.
Let’s say I’m an architect.
Before, I was making architectural plans for 2024 retrospective a living ecosystem relatively simple and standard houses (2 floors, 2 bathrooms, 3 bedrooms, 1 kitchen).
The construction team worked with more or less similar structures from one house to another. In the context of the web, we could compare this to a fairly simple content website (home page, navigation menu of 4-5 sections, contact page, contact form, product page, blog, etc.). Since the structure is similar from one project to another, we focus a lot on the visual and aesthetics.
Today, it’s like designing architectural plans for airports or hospitals. Which means that in order to create the right plans, I have to understand the people who will benefit from them and their needs. When and where will they travel? How often? How many restrooms and emergency exits should be provided per floor?
The construction team must ensure that they build a structure that has the capacity to support this level of traffic and the complexity of this platform. Sometimes, you have to align with certain standards that have been established in order to be regulatory.
This parallel represents
UX designers of digital platforms well. Before designing the user experience of a banking service intranet portal for example, I must understand the users, the issues, the needs, the constraints and the future development phases. The platform must be functional and efficient above all.
What place do you give to work in your life?
A lot! (probably too much)
How do you see your field of expertise or industry evolving in the future?
Unfortunately, I would like to business to consumer reviews see less “imposter” in the field of UX design. It seems that this title has become “trendy” in recent years and headhunters love this term.
A real UX designer is much more than a good web designer: he is someone who masters a complex methodology of usability performance analysis, research methods and prototype validation.
He is also someone who knows his users,
who knows the company’s objectives and who creates solutions oriented towards meeting them. A good UX designer is not afraid to test, measure, modify and start again.
What is your company culture based on? How would you like to see it evolve?
Cvent has a great corporate culture and I feel privileged to be part of it.
The individual is truly put forward and I have the chance to work with a multitude of extremely competent and intelligent people. It makes me want to surpass myself daily.
Despite the fact that we are more than 3,700 employees around the world, and that I work remotely myself, the hierarchy of the different positions is not felt at all and there is a great deal of respect for everyone’s privacy. I firmly believe that no matter how big a company is, this kind of culture should always reign.
